Waiting for Giro' written by the Players' own Richard Torpey and directed by Lois Ward, won the prestigious Overall Award at the Preston One-Act Play Festival this month.
7 other nominations for awards were received by the Players for both 'Waiting for Giro' and the Junior Players performance of 'Who Did It?', directed by Annaka Lee.
